Noesis are the Global Agency of choice for the Ernie Els Group and have been retained in this capacity since 2006. During this time we have been responsible for the consolidation of the all areas of the brand and also the development of a digital strategy for his business entities.
Most recently this involved the redesign and development of the Ernie Els global website. Prior to this project the website was last created in 2007 and was showing the effects of the digital progression and it was agreed by the teams that it required an update.
One of the most important factors was to create the website in a responsive structure so that it could be accessed easier on mobile devices. Within the golf sector over 80% of browsing is conducted over mobile rather than desktop devices.
Our first task was to evaluate the data we had received for the existing site and understand the traffic flows throughout the site and where the viewers were exiting and we were creating maximum retention.
Once this had been evaluated it was important to develop the site to answer the audiences patterns and give them what the wanted. The current site incorporates all the businesses and allows them to share the global audience.
