Morzine
As a last minute idea, Jez and friends headed off to Morzine for a long weekend of skiing over Easter. Leaving London by car and taking the Eurotunnel, it was a relatively short drive through the night and we were on the slopes by 10am the following morning. A bright first day, the snow clouds soon came over and we enjoyed 4 days of amazing powder snow. Morzine is still a relatively unspoilt ski resort, still retaining much of its savoie charm and we were very well looked after by our hosts at [x] hotel. Along with Laura, John Hughes, Andy and Nicola Russell, we frequented the Buddha Bar for our daily dose of the Tower of Power (beer) and enjoyed amazing skiing in the Portes de Soleil ski area. By the time we came to leave, it was a hard job getting the car out!
