Noesis have recently completed a corporate brochure for Edward Symmons. I spent the morning at the printers on a press run watching the brochure going from plates to print, making sure that all the colours were correct and matched the corporate guidelines. This involved adding and subtracting amounts of colour from parts of the page to balance the the images. My thanks to Woking Print for their hospitality on the day and job well done.

Noesis has created a new identity for Winterflood Securities, the pan-European capital markets firm and subsidiary of Close Brothers Group. The consultancy was appointed by Winterflood Securities following a three-way pitch earlier this year, overseen by Managing Director, Jez Hayter.
Julian Palfreyman, Chief Executive of Winterflood Securities commented, “Winterflood Securities is a firm committed to efficient and responsive liquidity provision, combined with classic trading values and modern technology. We wanted to create a visual identity to reflect that, enabling the Company to move into new markets and territories. Noesis has provided us with a brand, vision statement and supportive materials to facilitate this.”
Jez Hayter, Managing Director of Noesis said, “We have spent the past few months working with Winterflood Securities to identify the core vision and brand position of the firm. This has been realised through client perception studies, internal audits and a review of the current brand and marketing materials. The result is we have created an identity that reflects Winterflood’s position in the marketplace. The ‘W’ icon is a modern interpretation of the Company’s traditional core values – innovation, technology and growth.”
To compliment the branding exercise, Noesis will conduct a refresh of both the corporate and Investment Trusts websites and a roll out campaign comprising of updated marketing materials and advertising. These will be launched internally and externally through the remainder of 2009 and early 2010.

Noesis have been instructed to develop the brand and communication devices for recently formed ‘lifestyle products’ company Mombasa Harbour Trading. The company ethos is around: connecting new friends to the kinds of ‘treasures’ that relate strongly to their own sense of self and personal identity(of adventure, exoticism, travel, worldliness).
‘We are very excited to be creating an identity that will travel the world’ commented Jez Hayter, of Noesis

Jez Hayter, Managing Director of Noesis has just completed day 1 of an epic cycle ride of 182 miles to be covered in 2 days through Cornwall and Devon supporting Nigel Rowley in his quest to ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats in 14 days. In support of The Born Free Foundation and The British Heart Foundation the pair set off from the infamous Land’s End sign travelling only on “B’ roads via the coast of Cornwall to Padstow. As you can see from the photograph Jez (left) has come prepared on a lightweight race bike with 14 gears ‘The Red Baron,” whilst Nigel (right) is sporting a Dawes tourer “The Tank,” with 27 gears and lots of bags which are empty. You can guess who will be getting up the hills and who will be walking!
