Fashion Plastic Rocks Pure London

Allene Jordan and I showed up at the Pure London Event this weekend solely to see our client FashionPlastic in all their glory but ended up accidentally stumbling upon a fashion show or two as well!  The event was quite the classy affair with small cafe’s randomly dotting corners of the event to the grand expanse of high-end retailers spread throughout the exhibition centre.  As we wandered about the mass of furs, silks and silver we had no doubt this was where FashionPlastic would thrive.  Located 10 feet away from the “New Products Launch” sign, FashionPlastic’s bold and colourful stand display definitely stood out from the rest.  Remember, there’s still one more day to go before the event ends, there’s still time to hop on the tube and check it out!

We have already had some exciting developments in brainstorming concepts behind products for Bausch + Lombs Crystalens lenses.  As we move from project to project we have maintained that all surgical material design remains consistent with

Bausch + Lomb’s rebranded look.  We are looking forward to continuing to develop new ideas and concepts for Bausch + Lomb and will continue to update you on our progress!

Fashion Plastic Due to Premiere this Weekend!

Banner Image

Well, its almost time for Fashion Plastics big premiere at Pure London this weekend!  Held in the Olympia Exhibition Centre this ridiculous display of all things fashion will be running from February 14th to February 16th.  Our ideas have now developed into a reality as seen by the design to the left of an exhibition banner we designed for the grand event.  We took a 1980’s approach and ran with it: big, bold colours, odd angles and taking advantage of the brightness of the product itself.  By having it run diagonally across the banner we added put a spin on what could have been just a simple rainbow stripe.  We kept the same sort of feel in mind when designing the other FashionPlastic assets and in the end we sustained a consistent theme between the flyers, stickers, banners and holding page for the website. We’re checking out the event this weekend and we’ll let you know how it goes!

Noesis Produces Client Bags

Canvas BagsOriginally created for Christmas give-aways, we designed a series of bags for clients with their logo and/or slogan on it.  ”We wanted to give something fun back to our clients that would show how much we’ve enjoyed working with them” commented Managing Director Jez Hayter.  We made them for those clients who’s brand fit well with the idea as well as whom it would be most useful for in a professional setting.   Made of canvas and large enough to put a baby into, these bags were fun to design and came out great!

Fashion Plastic In Development

Different Variations

Development for our client Fashion Plastic is well under way. Many different concepts have emerged involving everything from retro pop culture to the use of colourful textures to rainbow after rainbow. With the event a little less than two weeks away we are awaiting approval of our final banner concept and it is looking like we will finish ahead of schedule.  The next phase involves ensuring the rest of the deliverables fit in with the concept of the chosen vision. The event is being hosted by Pure London at Olympia London.  We hope to see you there!

Fashion Plastic Has Arrived

Our Idea Wall

Noesis has been recruited by a fun and free-spirited company known as Fashion Plastic.  Producer of bendable watches that come in all sorts of crazy colours and sizes, we are excited to begin brainstorming themes, logos and more.  Made for the young and fun the same rubber texture used for these watches has been used for immensely influential branding campaigns such as the yellow Lance Armstrong LiveStrong™ bracelets and the pink Breast Cancer bracelets.  However, the bracelets have also spilled over into the popular market as a fashion statement.  Fashion Plastic has added an additional element to an already popular design, which gives us a chance to brainstorm a wider range of ideas.  We have just begun working on this campaign and the ideas are already spilling out, it’s hard to keep track of who said what! Stay tuned!

Ernie Els Wines Gets Label Makeover

Ernie Els Labels

Here at Noesis we are delighted to be called on again to help Ernie Els promote his ever-expanding brand.  This time around we have been elected to design wine labels and stickers for his portfolio of 12 distinctive wines.  The wines have been a project of Ernie Els for years and our job was to help promote his relationship with the vineyards.  Rather than just sticking the logo onto the existing wine bottle as a separate sticker we worked to incorporate the Ernie Els brand into the design of the wine label.  By approaching the project this way we achieved two objectives.  One: we took a further step towards our ultimate goal of ensuring the Ernie Els brand is well represented within all of his ventures and two: portraying Ernie Els as a lifestyle brand rather than an individual.  Having already started the project we are really happy with how the brand is evolving.  Check back later to see how an update on our progress.

Bausch + Lomb Email Refresh

Bausch + Lomb email newsletter design refresh

Noesis wrapped up the end of 2009 with a design for a new HTML e-mail template for Bausch + Lomb’s US EMEA teams.  Bausch + Lomb have recently gone through a dramatic re-branding of their own which heavily influenced our re-vamped version of their newsletter template.  The updated template utilizes the new corporate colours and integrates soft curves into the design.  This allows for a large amount of information to be displayed in an engaging, accessible and effective manner.  The newsletter, sent through an e-mail campaign system “Kite”, provides an effective way of communicating what is new and exciting at Bausch + Lomb to their employees, clients and consultants.

Watamu Community Hospital Gets Branding Treatment

watamuNoesis has developed the brand and application for a community hospital in Watamu, Kenya, we were approached by the hospital to create a logo which reflects the nature of the hospital and the services they offer.

The symbol needed to be as recognizable as the International Symbol for medical care but with a local feel.  The interweaving cross icon symbolises the connection between cultures creating a symbol of strength contained in a secure environments graphically represented by a circle.

Noesis value the importance of being involved in non for profit organisations and currently work with the Ol Malo Trust and Children’s Radio Foundation, also based in Kenya.

The international client base Noesis currently serves, allows our creatives to learn other cultures and what visually drives them, the bold rich colours which are significant to Kenya serve as an inspiration.
